Dense
fog
and
bitter
cold
enveloped
the
national
capital
early
Friday
morning,
sending
shivers
down
many
an
early
morning
walker
and
throwing
rail
and
air
traffic
off
gear.
The worst hit were the morning air travelers as runway visibility at the New Delhi airport dropped below normal, delaying most in-bound and out-bound flights. The train services to the capital were also affected. Winter has set in firmly and it was a bitterly cold morning in most of North, East and Northwest India.
