Rupee resumes almost steady at 39.40/41 per USD

Mumbai, Dec 14: The Rupee resumed almost steady against the US Dollar at 39.40/41 from its previous close of 39.395/405 per dollar in a less active Forex market.

The local unit was in ease as there was less fluctuation as the market was constrained by apprehensions of a Central bank intervention and the prospect of foreign investment flows toward the end of the year, dealers said.
