Chennai, Dec 14 (UNI) Communist Party of India (CPI) Tamil Nadu unit Secretary D Pandian today refuted Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Anbumani Ramadoss' comments that those who support the agitating medicos were the 'enemies' of rural people.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Pandian said '' this is not a sensible argument by him. He thinks that pushing the medical students to rural areas will solve all the problems.'' ''Medical facilities alone will not solve the problems of the villagers. The rural people need electricity, water and roads,'' he said.

Mr Pandian said the government should send only experienced doctors to the rural areas and not medical students.

''Instead of taking initiatives in this regard, Dr Ramadoss is terming others as the 'enemies' of rural people,'' he added.
