Bad weather holds up flights, passengers face hardship

Bangalore, Dec 14 (UNI) Passengers were stranded in the airport here due to delay in take off of scheduled flights due to bad weather.

According to official sources, the passengers faced hardship due to delay in arrival of connecting flights from Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai due to poor visibility.

However, airport authorities declined to give details of the flights delayed.

Passengers of flights were asked to disembark twice as take off was not possible due to bad weather.

The weather cleared but as there was backlog, the passengers continued to experience hardship till noon.
