4.5kg RDX, grenades recovered in Reasi

Jammu, Dec 14 (UNI) A dump of RDX and hand grenades was recovered by the Army in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, a defence spokesman said here today.

Lt Col S D Goswami said troops of 54 Rashtriya Rifles found the explosives in Jandi Forest area of Reasi district.

RDX, weighing 4.5 kg five hand grenades were also recovered from the site,'' he added.

The troops were on routine patrolling when they found the explosives. The area had been cordoned off and search launched, he said.
