25 killed as train rams into bus in Punjab

Moga, Dec 14: At least 25 passengers, including eight children, were killed when a bus carrying them was hit by a passengers' train at an unmanned railway crossing near Churchak village in the district early today.

According to the information available at the police control room here, the accident took place when the driver of the Mini bus tried to cross the Railway line. The train, which was on its way to Ferozepur from Ludhiana, rammed into the bus.Senior and civil police officials have been rushed to the spot.
