15,739 IG units set up in north Kashmir
Srinagar, Dec 14 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government has provided financial assistance of Rs 233 crore to set up 15,739 income generating (IG) units in Baramulla district of north Kashmir.
Under the Credit Action Plan, 15,739 IG units with a financial assistance of Rs 233 crore have been set up in the district during the first six months of current fiscal, an official spokesman said today.
Of these, he said, 9,602 units have been established under the priority sector, while the remaining are under the non-priority sector.
