Cold wind and cloudy sky intensify cold condititions in Rajasthan

Jaipur,Dec 13 (UNI) Snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh coupled with overcast sky and the cold wind blowing from the northward direction intensified the cold conditions in the state.

According to meterological department Bikaner has reported a minimum temperature of 6.4 degree celsius six degree celsius below normal while Churu recorded 7.2 degree celsius about two degree below normal. The minimum temperature recorded in Jaipur 7.6, Jaisalmer 7.7, Udaipur(Dabok) 9.8, Chittorgarh 8.7, Jodhpur 8.2, Ganganagar 8.3,Ajmer and Barmer 9.2, Bundi 11.6 and Kota 12 degree celsius.

According to weather officials cold wave condtions are likely to intensify further in the next few years after the western disturbances subsides.
