Upper House adjourned following pandemonium

Patna, Dec 12 (UNI) The Bihar Legislative Council was adjourned twice following pandemonium during the pre-lunch session today.

Opposition RJD's Mundrika Singh Yadav raised the issue of fertilizer crisis saying that it was due to the faulty policy of the government.

At this members of the ruling parties, including Mr Giriraj Singh of BJP and Mr Rambadan Rai of JD(U) trooped to the well objecting the statement.

Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh intervened saying he would resign if black marketing was proved.

Presiding Officer Narendra Kumar Singh tried to bring the House in order but in vain following which it was adjourned till 1200 hours.

When the members reassembled, the House again witnessed uproarious scenes over unaided education policy. The opposition and members of local bodies came to the well shouting anti government slogans.

Acting Chairman Prof Arun Kumar finally adjourned the House till lunch.
