Six awarded life term in double murder case

Mahoba, Dec 12 (UNI) A local court today awarded life term to six accused in a double murder case.

However, a woman accused, Alli, was however acquitted, since charges against her could not be proved.

According to prosecution, Parshu Ram and Maan Singh were lynched over a land dispute in June 2006.

Altogether, seven persons were booked in the case.

District and Sessions Court Judge Sudhir Kumar Saxena found the six accused -- Kallu, Tulsi, Pappu, Kishori, Sajjan and Lalla -- guilty and gave them life terms.
