Maharashtra to start Sharad Pawar Agro-Technology Programme
Mumbai, Dec 12 (UNI) The Maharashtra Government has proposed to start Sharad Pawar Agro-Technology Programme on the occasion of his 67th birthday today.
Maharashtra Rural Development Minister Vijaysingh Mohite Patil told reporters that the Programme will concentrate on giving more infrastructure to the farmers for which a sum of Rs 235 crore would be required.
The Programme will be implemented in 5,883 villages on an experimental basis, Mr Patil added.
