Fake currency racket busted

Kokrajhar, Dec 12 (UNI) The Army has busted a major fake currency racket, which was supplying counterfiet notes to all the militant outfits of the North East.

According to official sources today, the army on a tip off raided the Kakargaon area of Bongaigaon district last night and arrested two persons.

Counterfiet currency worth Rs one lakh was recovered from them, sources said.

Both the arrested have confessed that they were supplying fake currencies to various militant groups in NE, sources said.
