Sales of Kangri basket boost up

Srinagar, 10th Dec 2007 : With the Kashmir valley reeling under an intense cold wave, the sales of Kangri, an ethnic basket that helps people keep warm, has increased manifold in Jammu and Kashmir. And entrepreneurs related to the business are rejoicing as mercury levels take a dip.

The cost of a kangri varies between 25 to 120 rupees, which makes it affordable to all.
