Technosoft sets up development centre in Bangalore

Bangalore, Dec 10: The US-based Technosoft Corporation, a leading player in the outsourcing services, today announced setting up of its development centre here as part of its expansion plans in India.

According to a company release here, the decision followed a move to leverage the large pool of skilled resources in the city to service the company's growing client base.

"Our overall plan is to expand our existing centres of excellence here as well as launch a new portfolio of service offerings from Bangalore," company Chief Executive Officer Rajiv Tandon said.

He said the centre would employ 200 professionals over the next one year. The company had set up its operations in Chennai two years ago, where over 350 people were currently employed.

He said last year's revenue was around US Dollars 50 million and the services spread across areas such as BPO, IT consulting and staff augmentation.
