Lorry Owners Assn threatens to strike work
Puducherry, Dec 10 (UNI) Puducherry Lorry Owners Association has threatened to strike work if the police continue to harass them.
Addressing a press conference here today, Association President Kesavan said the police were treating them as anti-social elements.
If the lorry was stopped anywhere in the Transport Nagar the police were collecting money from them.
Mr Kesavan urged the Chief Minister to issue an order that police should not interfere into the affairs pertaining to the Road Transport Office, failing which they would have no option other than going into strike.
