Free, Open Source Software Workshop in Alpha college from Dec 12

Chennai, Dec 10 (UNI) The Departments of Computer Science (CSE) and Engineering and Information Technology (IT) of Alpha College of Engineering, is organising a 'Free and Open Source Software Workshop' at the college premises, near here, on December 12 and 13.

The workshop, jointly organised with IBM, would have technical and practical sessions on Open Extensible Integrated Development Environment-Eclipse, Database Server-DB2 Express and E-Business Development Tools-Websphere Studio Application Developer, a college release said.

IBM would provide various technical inputs and course materials for the conference, the release added.
