Dwaraka Congress candidate hauled up for code violation

Jamnagar, Dec 10 (UNI) A Dwarka taluka development officer (TDO) has filed a case against a Congress candidate for breaching the model code of conduct by distributing pamphlets in Mithapur town, 15 km from Dwarka.

Dwarka TDO V G Bhalu filed the complaint against Patramal Bha Sumbhaniya and his supporters for distributing the pamphlets under section 127 (k) of Peoples Representation Act 1951 and Indian Penal Code (IPC) 188. The campaigning had officially ended at 1700 hrs yesterday.
