Six arrested, fake notes seized
Mau, Dec 9 (UNI) Police have arrested six people and fake notes worth Rs 20,000 was recovered fron them in Mohammadabad area of the district.
On a tipped-off, cops swooped upon Rajesh Ram, Jai Prakash, Tripuri, Bhola, Santosh and Suresh alias Pappu under Mohammadabad police station area late yesterday, police said today.
On interrogation, the accused confessed that they were involved in counterfeiting fake currency notes.
A case had been registered and accused sent to jail.
