Railway cop dies while crossing the tracks

Mumbai, Dec 9 (UNI) A 40-year-old Railway Police personnel died after hit by a speeding train last evening when he was trying to cross the railway tracks between Ghatkopar and Vikhroli suburban stations, Police said today.

The face of Sunil Bhagoji Gore, who was working in the company-3 of Railway Police, was crushed beyond recognition as the train was in speed.

It was only through his identity card that his wife and brother-in-law could recognise him, Police said.
