Missing body found floating in Musi river

Hyderabad, Dec 9 (UNI) The body of an accident victim, reported missing from Osmania hospital mortuary, was found floating in the Musi river here today.

Police said the incident came to light when the relatives of Anji Reddy, who succumbed to injuries at the hospital yesterday, came to take the body.

As the authorities failed to find the body in the mortuary, the relatives staged a dharna in front of the hospital.

Meanwhile, the Police informed the hospital authorities that two bodies were found floating in the Musi river near Muslim Jung bridge.

While one of the bodies was identified as that of Anji Reddy, the identity of the other body was not yet ascertained, the police added.
