Five people killed in road accident

Hubli, Dec 9 (UNI) Five people were killed and 18 injured when a tractor in which they were traveling turned turtle near Boodangudda village in Dharwad district tonight.

According to police sources the ill-fated vehicle was returning from a pilgrimage visit in the village in Kalghatgi taluk in Dharwad district. The mishap occurred at about 1930 hours and injured were admitted to general hospital in taluk and district place, the source added.
