Fake notes seized, 6 held
Mau, Dec 9 (UNI) Police have arrested six counterfeiters possessing fake notes worth Rs 20,000 in Mohammadabad area of the district.
On being tipped-off, cops swooped upon Rajesh Ram, Jai Prakash, Tripuri, Bhola, Santosh and Suresh alias Pappu under Mohammadabad police station area late yesterday, police said today.
On interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime.
A case had been registered and accused sent to jail.
