Three Indians arrested with drugs in Nepal

Kathmandu, Dec 8: Three Indian nationals were arrested by Nepal police in Prasa district near Indo-Nepal border this morning with drugs in their posession.

Manish Kumar Sharma, Ramesh Mishra and Gokesh Mishra, residents of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh were arrested with more than one kg of marijuana when their car, returning from Hetauda, was searched by the police, Kantipur quoted a district police officer as saying.

The police also took the car (UP 4 DL 9738) under custody.

Nepalese and Indian officials have beefed up security in the 1800 km open border to control cross border criminal activities.
