Loco drivers' flash strike hits train service

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 8 (UNI) A flash strike by a section of the loco-drivers of the Thiruvananthapuram division, affected train services today.

While most of the trains had been indefinitely delayed, many incoming trains had not yet reached the station.

Meanwhile, a railway release said the loco drivers resorted to the flash strike without any notice to the administration.

The railways had appealed to the employees to resolve their issues through discussion, it said.

Efforts were on to resolve the issue through talks.
