Foreign spirit makers to create lndian brands

New Delhi, 6th Dec 2007 : Foreign spirit makers are toying with the idea of creating local brands for the Indian market.

Brands like Absolut, Amsterdam-based House of Bols, and the world's leading spirits maker Diageo, are toying with the idea of creating these internationally celebrated brands exclusively for Indian markets. This option would allow companies to offer products at various price points in order to achieve a stronger foothold in the market.
