Bangalore, Dec 6 (UNI) Team India Bowling Coach Venkatesh Prasad's objection to the painting of logo on the ground was ignored by the officials supervising the work.

Just before his team arrived at the ground for net practice, the former speedstar took objection to painting of a huge logo on the turf stating that it would affect pace bowlers run-up.

The bowling coach told the official supervising the work that the paint would restrict the bowlers' run-up. However, his words fell on deaf ears as the painters continued to work on the three logos and the official supervising suggested shifting of the Indian nets to other side of the ground, not realising that the area was earmarked for the Pakistan side.

The painting of logos were completed and the Indian pacers were seen starting their run up from the top of the logos as the paint had not dried up, partly because of the heavy cloud cover and cool breeze.
