ShoaibMalik ruled out for third test also
Bangalore, Dec 6 (UNI) Pakistani Skipper Shoaib Malik has been ruled out for the third test against India beginning here on Saturday.
Malik who twisted his right ankle while playing football after the team's loss against India at the Ferozshah Kotla Stadium in Delhi was out of the team in the drawn Kolkatta test and even here stand-in captain Yousuf Khan will lead the team.
Pakistan media Manager Easan Malik told newsmen here that Malik was advised rest for five more days as there was ''still some pain, some tenderness and limitations in movement'' after he consulted a surgeon. The ankle had been replastered.
Mr Malik said it was a grade one ankle injury.
The other players were all in good health, he added, Meanwhile Rao Iftikhar Anjum, the medium pacer who has replaced seamer Umar Gul has joined the team.
