School boy found dead under suspicious circumstances

Mandi, Dec 6 (UNI) A 16-year-old school boy was found dead under mysterious circumstances near the boundary wall of Senior Secondary School, Bhangrotu in the district late last evening, police today said.

Devinder Kumar, a ninth class student, was declared brought dead by the doctors of a nearby hospital, where he was taken to after being found laying just outside the school boundary wall last evening.

The police said there were no injury marks on his body and it appeared to be a natural death, adding that the body was handed over to his parents after postmortem.

Meanwhile, the school authorities said he had not attended the school yesterday since he might have fallen unconscious outside the school premises.

A case had been registered and investigations were on, the police added.
