Orange festival in Manipur

Imphal, Dec 6 (UNI): The state level Orange Festival will be held at the picturesque Tamenglong district headquarter on December 20 and 21 next.

Every year the festival is organized to showcase the orange products of the district and to attract tourists.

Tamenglong district is famous for its orange and other horticultural products and scenic beauty. An Orange Queen contest is also organized as a part of the festival every year.

Special prizes are also given for the best orange producers.
