DRS to hold Ayyappa devotees meet on Dec 9

Tiruchirapalli, Dec 6 (UNI) The Chennai-based Dharma Rakshna Samiti (DRS) will organise a one-day meet here on December nine to enlighten the devotees about worship of lord Ayyappa and on the norms to be followed while undertaking Sabarimala pilgrimage.

Informing this to newspersons last night, DRS Tiruchirapalli coordinators G V Gupta and T G Iyyappan said nearly 4,000 devotees from Tiruchirapalli, Karur, Perambalur, Ariyalur, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Pudukottai districts, would attend the meet.

A guide for Ayyappa devotees would be released at the meet, they said adding the Samithi had conducted similar meet at Tirunelveli, Coimbatore, Madurai and Chennai.
