Collision kills 4 in UP

Lucknow, Dec 6 (UNI) At least four people, including three PWD junior engineers, were killed and two others seriously injured when a vehicle carrying them dashed against a stationary truck in Bilhaur area of Kanpur city today.

The vehicle, en route from Kannauj to Kanpur, rammed into the truck, killing four passengers on the spot.

The injured, including an executive engineer, were admitted to a nearby hospital, police said.

The deceased were identified as junior engineers Rohtas, S P Yadav, Prayag Narayan and driver Lovlesh.

Bodies have been sent for autopsy.
