Call money ends lower at 6.50 pc
Mumbai Dec 6 (UNI) Inter-bank call money rates closed lower today at 6.50 per cent compared to its previous close of 7.00-7.10 per cent.
During the day, it touched a high of 7.00 per cent and a low of 6.50 per cent.
According to market watchers, lack of adequate funds coupled with tight liquidity in the system had forced the call rates to dip down to lower levels. They were trading in the range of 7.00-8.00 per cent for last one week.
There were no auction of reverse repo bonds by the Reserve bank of India today.
