BKU to agitate on Dec 10
Muzaffarnagar, Dec 6 (UNI) Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) workers today said they would stage a massive protest across Uttar Pradesh on December 10 to demand the release of Union president Mahendra Singh Tikait.
Besides, they would ask for the fulfillment of farmers' demands.
BKU spokesperson Rakesh Tikait said, ''the workers would block the roads near their respective villages in protest on Decemeber 10.'' School vans and ambulance would, however, be an exception.
Union's president Mahendra Singh Tikait is presently behind bars in Hameerpur jail in connection with a 17 year-old-case.
