Ashok Leyland November sales down 16 pc

Mumbai, Dec 6 (UNI) Ashok Leyland has sold 5,800 vehicles in November, this year as against 6,923 units sold in the same month last year, registering a dip of 16 per cent.

Domestic sales fell to 5,366 units from 6,420 units, while exports dropped to 434 units from 503 units.

Meanwhile, Ashok Leyland and Nissan Motor recently firmed up joint ventures for the manufacture of light trucks, engines and transmissions and technology, a company press release said here today.
