5 killed in accident

Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, Dec 6 (UNI) Five persons were killed and five others injured when an autorickshaw, in which they were travelling, collided with a lorry at Gooty here today.

Police said the auto was proceeding to Ubijerla village when the incident occurred.

While two died on-the-spot, the other three succumbed to the injuries enroute to a hospital.

The injured were admitted to a private hospital.

The identity of the deceased were not yet ascertained, the police added.
