2 killed as tree falls on lorry

Mysore, Dec 6 (UNI) Two persons were killed and another injured when a tree fell on the lorry in which they were tarvelling at Somwarpet in Chamarajanagara district today.

Police said the mishap occurred when the road-side tree fell on the vegetable-laden lorry, coming from Tamil Nadu.

The deceased were lorry driver Velu (40) and loader Mahesh (35), both belonging to Tamil Nadu.

The injured was admitted to a private hospital.
