2 held for robbery

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 6 (UNI) Police arrested two persons in connection with a theft case at a gold cutting centre here today.

The arrested were identified as Althaf (25) and Mohroof(25), both hailing from West Bengal, police said.

A five-member gang looted 50 sovereign of gold ornaments and Rs 20,000 in cash at gun point from a gold cutting centre two days ago.

Police said the member of the gang, who was undergoing treatment at a private hospital after the gun accidentally fired , would be arrested after he was discharged.
