Rani strucks in land controversy

Mumbai, 5 December, 2007 : It is Rani Mukherjee"s turn to get embroiled in a land controversy. After Amitabh Bachchan and Amir Khan, now Rani"s name is figuring in a property dispute.

And the land in question again is agricultural as in the earlier two cases. Rani"s land in Shirdi, Maharasthra, which has been mired in controversy for the past month, was declared illegal by a court on December 4th. Now, the Maharashtra government is to take possession of the land.
