Paramilitary forces deployed in Gujarat

Jamnagar, Dec. 1, 2007 : The security fortification has been done to ensure safe and smooth elections in the state of Gujarat. Seventeen companies of the Border Security Force or BSF have already been deployed in the various villages of the state.

21 companies of BSF, 17 companies of Central Industrial Security Force or CISF and two companies of Central Reserve Police Force or CRPF will be deployed in Jamnagar alone. The first phase of polling is scheduled on December 11.
