Three militants nabbed by troops in Manipur

Assam
Rifles
have
arrested
three
militants
one
each
of
People's
Revolutionary
Party
of
Kangleipak
(PREPAK),
Kangleipal
Communist
Party
(KCP)
and
Revolutionary
People's
Front
(RPF)
in
three
separate
incidents
during
the
last
24
hours.
The PRO of Assam Rifles said the PREPAK cadre was nabbed by the troops of 34 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector yesterday and was identified as Santi Kumar a Corporal.
In another incident, troops of 1 Assam Rifles nabbed a cadre of KCP and handed him over to police yesterday, the PRO said.
In another incident troops of 24 AR apprehended a RPF cadre from Kut Ground Ward No.2 of Moreh, Chandel district. The cadre was identified as Captain Sanjoy Singh and one Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and Rs 1,180 in cash were recovered and he was handed over to Manipur police yesterday.
