MPHC notice to Principal Secy

Jabalpur, Dec 5 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh High Court today issued a notice to the state's Principal Secretary (General Administration) directing the official to fully constitute an Information Commission by the end of thje month.

Justices Deepak Mishra and R K Gupta issued the notice while hearing the plea of Bhopal-resident social activist Sunil Tiwari who challenged the formation of a single-member Commission despite a court notice.

Petitioner's Counsel Naman Nagrath submitted that the appointment of Mr P P Tiwari as Chief Information Commissioner was insufficient.
