Four-day Bhakti seminar

Tirupati, Dec 5 (UNI) A four-day national seminar on 'Celestial Love: Bhakti in the Indian Tradition' will be held at Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR) here, starting tomorrow.

Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR) Chairman K Ramakrishna Rao said the seminar jointly organised by ICPR, New Delhi and the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD), would be attended by about 200 delegates from across the country.

The concept of bhakti would be discussed from its philosophical and socio-psychological perspectives, he added.

Tirumala Tirupati Tirunindravur Dharmakarta Periyakoil Kelviappan Sri Srgaramanuja Pedda Swami would inauguarate the event.

Various traditions of bhakti at different historical periods would be deliberated upon with its philosophical nuances, he added.
