Dy Secy to CM appointed

Chennai, Dec 5 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Government today appointed M S Shanmugham as the Deputy Secretary to the Chief Minister.

The government had issued orders for creating a temporary post of Deputy Secretary to Chief Minister in the grade of District Revenue Offier (DRO) for one year, an official release said.

Consequent to this, Mr Shanmugham, working as DRO in the Monitoring Committee, Chief Minister's Office, was posted as Deputy Secretary to the Chief Minister.

Mr Mahesan Kasirajan, Deputy Secretary to Governor, was transferred and posted in place of Mr Shanmugham, an official release said.
