Cong''unperturbed'' by Chiranjeevi's possible entry

Hyderabad, Dec 5 (UNI) Asserting that the ruling Congress in Andhra Pradesh was ''unperturbed'' over the possible entry of noted actor Chiranjeevi into politics, its spokesman N Tulsi Reddy today said the party would seek the people's mandate in the next Assembly elections projecting the ''performance of the Rajasekhara Reddy Government.

''People have faith in the Congress, which is striving for the welfare of all sections under the leadership of its chief Sonia Gandhi and Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy'', he told reporters here.

Evenwhile dismissing as ''hypothetical'' the possible entry of Chiranjeevi into politics, he said ''anyone is free to support any party or float his own party.'' He hailed the State Government's decisions to introduce ''Pavalla Vaddi'' scheme to extend loans to handloom weavers at a nominal three per cent interest rate and provide insurance for farm labourers.
