Call money ends at 7.00-7.10 pc
Mumbai Dec 5 (UNI) Inter-bank call money market today closed lower at 7.00-7.10 per cent compared to its previous close of 7.60-7.70 per cent.
During the day, it touched a high of 07.40 per cent and a low of 07.10 per cent.
Dealers said profit booking by FII's in the equity market, which might have pumped in fresh funds in the system, eased the call rates, which were trading in the range of 7.00-8.00 per cent for the last one week.
The Reserve Bank of India, through reverse repo, accepted one bid worth Rs 5,000 crore at a fixed rate of 7.75 per cent.
