TATA is an emerging global giant
New Delhi, 4 December, 2007 : According to a new list of 100 New Global Challenger Giants released by Boston Consulting Group, India is home to 20 firms, which are posing an "urgent threat to industry leaders" of the world. Another such country in the list is China, which accounts for 41 such firms. The Tata Group alone accounts for one-fourth of Indian participation with five companies, which are Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Tea and Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited figuring in the list.
