Three districts to be developed as ''e-districts'' in Bihar
Patna, Dec 4 (UNI) The Bihar government has decided to develop three districts of the state as ''e-districts'' to bring efficiency in the administration and to accelerate the pace of development and execution of various projects in the state.
Official sources said here today that Nalanda, Madhubani and Aurangabad districts had been selected for the required infrastructural development which would become ''e-districts'' in coming days.All the government offices in these districts would be modernised and the departmental records would be computerised, the sources added.
''Modernisation of the offices and computerisation of records would immensly help to bring transparency in the administration and various programmes being implemented by the government,'' the sources said adding it would also ensure speedy disposal of the pending works.
'' All government offices in remaining districts of the state would also be made fully computerised in coming days,'' the sources added.
