S4 Ind Software acquires Carlisle Publishing Services

Chennai, Dec 4 (UNI) Leading book publishing company S4 Ind Software Private Limited today announced acquisition of the US-based Carlisle Publishing Services for US Dollar 3.5 million.

Talking to newspersons here, company CEO Srinaath Krishnamachari said the newly formed 'S4Carlisle Publishing Services' would create an international network of prepress excellence through their combined experience.

S4Carlisle would provide customers worldwide with top-notch publishing services that could handle any publishing need in any platform.

''This acquisition will bring in new expertise and the company will offer a wide range of development, project management, design, prepress, and electronic services to the publishing community worldwide,'' he said, adding, ''with experienced staff spread over two continents, the company specialises in book and journal production, utilising an 'XML-First' coding structure to efficiently provide the product as desired, when desired.'' After the acquisition, the company revenue is expected to grow by USD eight million in 2008, he said adding the company was targeting to achieve a turn over of USD 25 million by 2012.
