Rupee opens firm at 39.44 per USD

Mumbai, Dec 4: The Rupee opened firm about five paise against US Dollar at 39.44/45 as compared to previous close of 39.51 per dollar on fresh inflows in the market during the early trade today.

The local unit was trading in a close range between 39.44 and 39.51 against greenback in a fairly active interbank foreign exchange (Forex) market, dealers said.
