NABARD sanctions Rs 178.2 crore to TN
Chennai, Dec 4 (UNI) The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has sanctioned Rs 178.20 crore to Tamil Nadu Government under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF).
The alloted funds would be used for a project comprising of upgradation of 358 rural roads and construction of 49 bridges in 28 districts in the state with an outlay of Rs 222.75 crore and RIDF assistance of Rs 178.20 crore, according to a PIB release here today.
With this the total amount sanctioned for the current fiscal was Rs 722.23 crore, it said.
